Quintana Winter
Spent the afternoon in Quintana on Saturday. On the way down I pass this Osprey on the wire and decided to stop for a shot. Ended up with a Osprey dive and an Bald Eagle chase off!

Welcome to Digital Bird Seed
Bird Photography is hot. DSLRs, the Internet and IPads are all coming together and Bird Photography is about to become a major sport.
This blog will be about my journey into Bird Photography which started a year ago with a single Osprey and now continues a year later with over 100 species photographed from local areas. It's been a year to not only learn about bird photography, but to learn about birds.
I started this year with a Canon 50d and a Canon 70-200mm f2.8 lens. Now I'm primarily using a Canon 7d with a Canon 300 f2.8 lens.
